Talk on Poverty in Germany at German Institute for Human Rights

I look forward to speaking at the very timely workshop on Poverty in Germany, which is hosted by the German Institute for Human Rights and the WZB Berlin Social Science Center next month.

During the event, I will present on a topic that may come as a surprise to many: Germany’s quite underdeveloped legal aid system. I will share insights from interviews and focus groups I conducted, and explore how current gaps and challenges could be overcome.
